About CCLCS

Since 1992, CCLCS has welcomed thousands of immigrants and refugees to Canada. With the generous support of Citizenship and Immigration Canada LINC program, we provide high quality English language instruction and orientation to help newcomers settle and adjust to life in Canada. These classes are free!

Our friendly and helpful staff are trained and certified to teach all aspects of English, including speaking, listening, reading and writing. With a variety of interesting and fun activities, you can share your experiences and knowledge with others while learning about living in Toronto.

Special Services

To make it easier for you to attend classes, we offer:

Free Childcare: our Scarborough and North York locations have childcare for children from 6 months to 6 years of age.

TTC tokens: students who live far or who need financial assistance can apply for TTC tokens (number of tokens is limited).

Our Classes

At our Downtown and Scarborough locations, we have Level 2 to Level 6. At our North York location, we offer Level 1 to Level 5. All classes are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 2:15, all year (including summer).
