TESL Canada

135-hour TESL Canada Program consists of:

  • 100-hour core course
  • 10 hours of ESL Observation at CCLCS
  • practicum (one week/daytime/25 hours) at CCLCS

Optional

  • 5-hour Professional Development Workshop (Saturday)

The TESL Canada program takes approximately 3 months to complete full-time and 5-7 months to complete part-time.

To qualify for their certificate, students in the 135-hour program must pass each segment and complete all program requirements. Upon successful completion of the program, students can submit their CCLCS certificate and proof of a university degree to TESL Canada for accreditation.

Please Note:


The 135-hour course recognized by TESL Canada is for teaching abroad and in programs in Ontario that do not require TESL Ontario Accreditation. TESL Ontario accreditation is required to teach in government funded settlement classes in Ontario.
